Recently, our residents took off to Las Vegas as part of our exciting Armchair Travel programme, which aims to provide our residents with an immersive experience. Armchair Travel allows Harrier House to explore different destinations, cultures and traditions from the comfort of their own home.
This time our residents chose to explore Las Vegas. Known for its dazzling lights, world-famous entertainment and vibrant atmosphere, it was the perfect destination for our next adventure.
Our residents explored some of the city's famous sights and landmarks all from the comfort of their home. We also learned more about Las Vegas and got to discuss plenty of interesting facts along the way. It was also a great way to remind our residents about previous holidays they had been on and share some much-loved memories.
Our dedicated team goes above and beyond to bring each destination to life, dressing up for the occasion, organising themed activities, decorating our home and preparing delicious buffet spreads inspired by the places we visit. Every little detail helps create a fun, immersive and memorable experience, allowing our residents to discover new cultures, share stories and make wonderful memories together.
Our Armchair Travel programme gives residents at Harrier House Care Home the opportunity to explore exciting destinations around the world, without the need for long flights. We're excited to see where our passports take us next, and look forward to creating even more wonderful memories at Harrier House.
